BeauVita was created as a 501C charitable organization with the purpose of providing housing in a “community setting” for adults with developmental disabilities. The goal of BeauVita is to provide an opportunity for adults with disabilities to choose where and with whom they wish to live.
BeauVita was established in 2007 by a group of parents who have children and young adults with disabilities. Concerned at the limited number of options for housing, the goal of BeauVita is to provide a welcoming, safe environment that offers maximum independence and personal lifestyle choices. Based on current waiting lists for housing in Hamilton County for the developmentally disabled, the need for residential options is urgent.
